Hello There!
We know that you know that all the wines in your Fellow Shipment were responsibly farmed and sustainably produced (by us) to be joyfully shared with you. But sometimes it’s good to get a little more detail and so we’ve created this page for that purpose! Scroll down to learn more about what’s coming your way, along with some (we hope) helpful ideas for enhancing your enjoyment of the wines you’ll be receiving this quarter.
Winter’s Featured Selections
-
2024 Shale & Stone Chardonay
Pristine aromas of wet stone, white peach, and Meyer lemon lead into a vibrant palate layered with citrus, green apple, and a taut, mineral-driven finish. Lees aging brings a supple texture, while the bright acidity keeps everything crisp and refreshing—never heavy, never buttery. Serve chilled, just north of fridge-cold (50–55°F), for ultimate freshness.
Classic Pairing: Serve alongside roast chicken with fresh herbs, seared scallops, or creamy seafood risotto.
Dare to Pair: For the bold, try it with ramen in a rich miso broth or spicy Thai curry. The wine’s backbone and citrus zing tame the heat and highlight all those savory-salty notes. -
Fellowship Exclusive: 2023 Zinfandel – White Barn Vineyard “Power Pole”
Classic Zinfandel character shines in this Fellowship exclusive: aromas of brambly blackberry, wild raspberry, and ripe cherry mingle with hints of baking spice, licorice, and cocoa. On the palate, vibrant red fruit bursts forth, layered with black pepper and earth, all carried by a lively acidity and gentle rustic tannins.
Serve slightly cool, at about 58°F (14°C), to preserve freshness and accentuate fruit and spice.
Classic Pairing: Try it alongside grilled lamb chops, barbecue ribs, or pizza topped with Italian sausage and peppers. Classic Zin foods let the wine’s robust flavors shine.
Dare to Pair: For adventure, pair with Korean fried chicken, sweet potato chili, or even spicy beef tacos—the wine’s acidity and peppery pop stand up to bold, unconventional flavors and prove just how versatile Zinfandel can be. -
2022 Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon
This classic Rutherford Cabernet weaves deep cassis and black currant aromas with dusty earth, cedar, and a hint of black olive. Velvety tannins frame notes of blackberry, plum, mocha, graphite, and subtle savory herbs, each element balanced by signature freshness and restraint—a wine built for both immediate pleasure and aging potential.
Serve at 60–65°F (16–18°C) after a brief decant to let layers unfold and tannins soften.
Perfect Pairing: Bring out the best alongside grilled ribeye, roast lamb, or aged cheddar—the wine’s structure and lift elevate rich meats and mature cheeses.
Dare to Pair: For more adventurous palates, pair with venison burgers, mole-braised beef, or even a wild mushroom pizza. Cabernet’s savory undertones and plush fruit thrive with earthy, punchy fare outside the norm.

**This event is fully reserved**
Drop by the winery on Sunday, October 26th from 3 to 5pm to pick up your shipment and you’ll receive a warm fireside welcome in the Vineyard House where we’ll be gathered to recap the 2025 harvest and chat about some exciting new member benefits while tasting some older wines. We’ll be tapping into the collective wisdom of our Frog’s Leap team who are busy trialing seasonal snack pairings, and our winemakers have been invited back to shed light on what’s in your shipment and how they recommend drinking it.
Can’t make it out this time? We’ve got you covered. After the pickup party, we’ll share the winners from our snack lineup along with some fun holiday hacks in a post party email so you can sip from home and catch the highlights, including a peek at our all-new Winter Wine Experiences and details for our upcoming Second Annual Solstice Barn Sale.
Whether you join us in person on the 26th or later from your kitchen table, we hope you’ll join all of us at Frog’s Leap as we raise a collective glass in celebration of Fellowship!
Since we’ll be cozying up indoors, this event is for our 21+ guests only—and no pups this time, please. If you’ll be visiting with anyone under 21 or with a dog, please reach out—we’d be happy to help arrange a complimentary outdoor visit for your party.
Will Call members: Your shipment will be ready and waiting for you!

How do I customize my Fellow Shipments and manage my membership?
Your Member Dashboard is your spot to access and manage your membership details. We are also available to answer questions and help with membership modifications, please click the chat bubble on our site, email fellow@frogsleap.com or ring 707 963 4704 to reach our small team.
Requests received before the billing date of the next Fellow Shipment will be applied immediately. Requests received after the billing date will be effective after delivery or pick up of that Fellow Shipment.
Will someone need to sign for my Fellow Shipment?
Federal law requires an adult signature at the time of delivery. Wine may only be delivered to persons who are at least 21 years of age. With this in mind, we strongly recommend shipping to a business address. If no one 21 or older is available on the first delivery attempt, the wine can become compromised, and you may be subject to replacement costs. The carriers will attempt delivery up to three times before returning your Fellow Shipment to the winery, return shipping and handling fees will apply.
