Hello There!
We know that you know that all the wines in your Fellow Shipment were responsibly farmed and sustainably produced (by us) to be joyfully shared with you. But sometimes it’s good to get a little more detail and so we’ve created this page for that purpose! Scroll down to learn more about what’s coming your way, along with some (we hope) helpful ideas for enhancing your enjoyment of the wines you’ll be receiving this quarter.
Fall’s Featured Selections
-
Special Sauvignon Blanc – 2023 Sauvignon Blanc Concrete Aged
Years of making Sauvignon Blanc in Rutherford provides the foundational pedigree for this limited release wine; Concrete aging gives the wine a more structured and refined variation that truly highlights what happens when the right varietal is grown in the right soils. Serve well-chilled (45–50°F) in an elegant universal stem (we use this one on the porch of our Vineyard House), and let it slowly open as it warms in the glass. Lovely with citrus-marinated shrimp or a tangy goat cheese. We’ve also been known to revisit it with dessert.
Dare you: Throw convention to the wind and enjoy this wine barefoot on the lawn, preferably with something salty and someone who loves a surprise.
-
New Release Zin – 2023 Zinfandel
Lively, lifted, and just a tad untamed, our 2023 Zin brings a rush of juicy red-black fruit, gentle spice, and fresh-cut violets—the kind of bottle that can work the party and still be fresh in the wee hours. Fermentation with a cold punch of Petite Sirah gives plushness and backbone, but this wine will never weigh you down. Serve it slightly below room temperature (cool to the touch) 60–65°F in glass that can capture and share the beautiful aromas. (This stemless version is one we particularly like.) For food, think grilled anything, pepperoni pizza, or any entree or app that calls for a little extra “zing.”
Cool Tip: Chill it an extra 10 degrees for a more floral, savory edge—and don’t be surprised if the bottle disappears fast.
-
Library Cab Worth Waiting For – 2018 Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon
Like people, Cabernet grows even more interesting and nuanced over time and this Library Select is no exception. Velvet depth, clever structure, and layers on layers—this wine is all about slow reveals and rich rewards. Blackberries, tobacco, cedar, and hints of graphite come together thanks to years of patient cellaring. Consider breaking out worthy glassware for this bottle, let it breathe at 60–65°F, then serve with an expensive cut of meat or an epic wedge of aged cheddar.
Pro move: Decant for at least 30 minutes, then settle in—with seven years of cellar aging this wine is too good to rush.

If Mother Nature continues to comply (it’s been a gorgeous summer) we’ll be kicking off our 45th harvest season mid-august and we’re hoping you can join us at the winery on Sunday, August 24th from 3-5 pm for the Fall Pick Up Party! Fellows are invited to grab their wine order in person and get a whiff of what’s fermenting in the old Red Barn (hint: it’s likely to be Sauvignon Blanc).
Stay tuned for details and your opportunity to RSVP!

How do I customize my Fellow Shipments and manage my membership?
Your Member Dashboard is your spot to access and manage your membership details. We are also available to answer questions and help with membership modifications, please click the chat bubble on our site, email fellow@frogsleap.com or ring 707 963 4704 to reach our small team.
Requests received before the billing date of the next Fellow Shipment will be applied immediately. Requests received after the billing date will be effective after delivery or pick up of that Fellow Shipment.
Will someone need to sign for my Fellow Shipment?
Federal law requires an adult signature at the time of delivery. Wine may only be delivered to persons who are at least 21 years of age. With this in mind, we strongly recommend shipping to a business address. If no one 21 or older is available on the first delivery attempt, the wine can become compromised, and you may be subject to replacement costs. The carriers will attempt delivery up to three times before returning your Fellow Shipment to the winery, return shipping and handling fees will apply.
